Workshop, Rant, and Meme

First: Workshop

I went to a workshop on the art of Restitution. Basically, how to bring self-motivation to my students, and keep my yelling to a minimum. Good stuff.... more on my learnings later......

Second: Rant

littletinyfish has a decent rant about the holidays here.

Third: Meme

This is an annoying (my opinion) little meme I got from soullessflyer's journal.

The rules are to write 11 things you want to say to different people but you don't say who or why and you never speak of them again.

1. You are one of the funniest gay guys I know. Also, you are nice smelling. I would pull another allnighter to play "Bloody Roar" with you any day.

2. It was good to see you again after so long. For a person who has shaped my life, I sure suck at keeping in contact. It was also reassuring to see some of the old "craziness" under the straightened hair, fake nails, and stylish clothing.

3. We didn't get along when we lived together, we started to talk when I moved out, and we got to know one another when you moved out. You are a very important piece of me, and I think I don't say "I Love You" enough. Oh, and gear down, Biscuit.

4. Yes, I got your CD. Your house looks great. And I miss your husband and dog as well. You can tell both of them I haven't kissed any girls lately. I'll find my way to the West Coast eventually....

5. What can I say? We have messaged for years now (I know, has it been that long?), yet, there is a good chance that we will never have the pleasure of meeting face - to - face. Or, would the relationship change if we did have that chance? I thank you for listening to me, and for the custard attacks.

6. We have a similar sense of humour, and I like that in a person. Is it sad that we grew up in the same place, but never talked to each other except through LJ comments?

7. You are the love of my life. No matter how mad I get, or how crazy I get, I do love you.

8. Cheesecake talks. Do I need to say more?

9. Even though you probably would never know, you were very influential in my life. You brought pain, wisdom, and levels of spirituality and philosophy. I hope, for once, life deals you a break. And I hope you take it.

10. Thank you for being my friend. Thank you for still talking to me after I smashed out your teeth. Thank you for traveling with me for 6 weeks, and still talking to me afterward. Thank you for the various adventures, both big and small. Thank you for putting up with my bouts of idiocy. And, most importantly, thank you for the road signs.

11. My male best friend... what can I say? Can I sum it up in cheap words, like pool noodles and water guns? Oh well, there will always be WBS in my heart, and NARF on the brain.

My, aren't we egotistical. Who says any of those comments were about you?!? *snickers*
