I'M COMING HOME!

The storm has past, the wind has died, the clouds have parted, and a thin stream of sunlight has graced my weary head as a chorus of angel proclaim,

"About bloody time".

*grins* After all the chaos and madness, I finally got my plane ticket reissued. *wipes forehead* Whew! But, staying in London hasn't been a total waste. I got to explore another part of the city trying to find this bloody travel agency. I had a lengthy conversation with a beggar while waiting for this place to open. I have mastered the tubes (subway) traveling back and forth.

Sarcasm aside, I did take a tour of Shakespeare's Globe, strolled along the Thames (pronounced "Tams") River, read my book and have a little nappy in the grounds of Southwark Cathedral, and I am going to be a mere groundling at the Globe to see Romeo & Juliet. True, I don't have a place to sleep tonight since all 3 hostels that are connected to this one are booked solid, but the guy at reception told me to check later on because they do have "emergency beds".

*shrugs* I don't care! I'll crash in a corner until they kick me out, if I have to! Hell or high water, I'm coming home!
