More Death Stuff

I just woke up. I skipped the afternoon today. We had a district PD called "The Framework of Poverty". It was really interesting, but I just couldn't keep my eyes open this morning. Even with the free food that comes with these inservices. *grins* Sure did have 2 juice boxes, some fruit, and 3 donuts...

The last two days have been absolutely crazy. I'm in the middle of orientations for my new batch that is starting on Monday, checking up on old students to see if they are okay, giving statements to the police about the girl, etc. I guess that police are examining ALL possibilities... even going as far as checking to see if she had any enemies and what was her behaviour and attitude in class.

The autopsy hasn't been done yet, so they haven't even made a positive ID. *sighs* I think what is the awkward part is the people looking at me and phoning me and seeing how I am doing. You didn't care about my existance before, so please go on with your day. Let me eat my donut. *grins*

And no, I still don't know how I feel about everything. All I know is I'm damn tired.

What a crazy couple of days...

Well, thank God for doughnuts!

I will pass on a few words that a wise person often offers me in times of strife. (with a little Opera_Queen twist, of course)

"Just imagine that you are kicking those people in the shin. AND, if need be, I will buy a car and run them over with it, if you want me to."

Keep your chin up. You're doing the best you can. We're all here to give you a hand, if you need it.
