Protest time...

My gawd, so many posts so close together......

Too many thoughts are swirling in my head right now. My literary class is reading Forbidden City by William Bell. To cut it super short for you, it is a fictional story about a real event. Tinnamen (spelling?) Square. 1989..... Bejing, China.... University students killed for protesting in a Communist country.... shot, ran over by tanks, etc.....

My class is going to hold a protest. Over what yet, I'll let them aside. It is approved by the admin in my school. I think we will make it "peacefully and informative" by tying ourselves to the desks in the library. I will get the Principal to come in to explain what would happen if this were serious, and then I would get the RCMP to come in with Security (both already in our school). Maybe I'll phone the local newspaper??? Then, the next day, we'll compare our results with 1989 China....

Too, too, too many things to think about...

Look at you, all creative-like!
Impressive! We should all have such neat and hands-on lessons. I gave a spelling test today. I'm lame. Oh, well. I'll think of something cooler for next week. Maybe. Hey, we're doing journals in my 9's class... you could look at mine, if you want, I blog, they journal. mrs-n-journal.blogspot.com. Enjoy. PS I miss you, even if you are going 3-year-old-nuts.

For all you know, this could have been an elaborate plan to spend a class laying down in the hallway....
