The results are in....

Friday noontime came and went. At around 1 p.m., I phoned the vice principal to see if they had made a decision yet. Three o'clock came and went. I went out for coffee (in other words, a lemon seed muffin and an orange juice)and puttered around. I wasn't holding my breath. They haven't even phoned my references by that time.

My main competition: a motherly ex-principal who worked on a reserve. Greeeeeeeat. *sighs*

.... I so annihilated her arse! *laughs*

That's right ladies and gentlemen, I am now an employed teacher. *insert wild cheers* So, I gave my boss at the shoe store one weeks notice (and I must say, I love her for being a cool and understanding chickee), gave my notice to my landlords, and started thinking. I have one week to pack, move, and start planning.....

Needless to say, I had a panic attack. And then I went to G's party and drank my face off. *grins* I will be teaching Grade 9 Science, Math, English, Social Studies, and Skills for Independent Living. Whew! *wipes forehead*

In other news, I had an excellent time with Special K (who arrived late in the evening after getting lost) and Penguin. True, Penguin was a moody be-otch all weekend, but I guess we all get that way. I made him some brownies, and he smiled some. *chuckles* Today, G, his gal, Penguin, Special K, and I went go-carting. *grins* Besdies G driving like a maniac in his little Penzoil car, it was grand. *chuckles*

So... yeah. Next Sunday, I move back to my dreaded hometown and take up temporary residence in Happygoth's and Witchgoddess' spare bedroom. Yep... kinda scary.....

Just that I have an awesome responsibility resting on my shoulders... that's all. *grins*

Couldn't have done it though without the flag and jig... *bows* Thank you, Oh Jigging One.
